Ty Heaps is a licensed Broker, co-founder, and co-owner of Sage Land Company in the state of Montana. Raised in the shadow of the Bitterroot Mountain Range in Idaho, Ty grew up with a passion for all things outdoors. With a longtime hunting guide and rancher as a father, his upbringing was highlighted by epic backcountry hunts and cowboy stories of bygone eras. He and his wife, Jamie, decided to start their family just over the Continental Divide in Gallatin County, Montana. Since in Montana, he has enjoyed time as a professional hunting guide, spent 6 years in the United States Marine Corps, and traveled the world with Expedition Overland (www.xoverland.com). Ty and his wife do their best to raise their three kiddos in true Montana traditions. He loves serving his local community and is currently an assistant coach for the Manhattan High School Football Team. He continues to engage in multiple Veteran non-profit organizations and loves to lend his expertise to those who have served wherever it helps. His three kiddos keep him passionate about passing on the western way of life. Because of that, he consistently tries to further his understanding of land stewardship and is passionate about soil health, livestock production, and wildlife habitat.

When not out touring ranches and talking to clients, Ty loves to get his kids out and about in Montana's vast wilderness or saddle up a horse and work cows with his family. Although it's a very busy life, he wouldn't have it any other way. Montana is too good to not GO ALL IN!
